Calibration Engineer
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Calibration Engineer to join our team. The Calibration Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our measurement instruments and equipment. This position involves performing calibrations, maintaining calibration records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards of precision in our processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct calibrations of a variety of measurement instruments and equipment, including but not limited to multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure gauges, and temperature sensors.
- Maintain and update calibration records, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose calibration issues, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, quality control, and R&D teams to address calibration requirements for new and existing equipment.
- Stay current with industry advancements, standards, and calibration techniques.
- Develop and implement calibration procedures and protocols.
- Participate in the development of preventive maintenance schedules for equipment.
- Assist in the training of technicians and other team members on calibration procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Calibration Engineer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of calibration procedures, standards, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and quality management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
