We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lifting Inspector to join our team. The Lifting Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all lifting equipment and operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards. This role involves conducting inspections, documenting findings, and working collaboratively with various teams to ensure a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, and other lifting devices.
• Evaluate equipment and lifting operations for compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Perform visual and functional checks, as well as non-destructive testing (NDT) when required.
• Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports.
• Provide recommendations for corrective actions and ensure timely implementation.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to address safety concerns.
• Stay current with industry standards and regulations related to lifting equipment.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Lifting Inspector or similar role.
• Certification as a Lifting Equipment Inspector is required.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
• Familiarity with various lifting equipment and their inspection requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and ability to access various work areas.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional certification or training in lifting equipment inspection is a plus.
